 The United Methodist Men (UMM)
St. John’s United Methodist Men is a chartered group under the United Methodist Church. It meets the last Thursday of each month at 6 pm with a gathering, followed by dinner at 6:30 (prepared by one of our UMW circles), a program and our business meeting.
Our fellowship is open to all men. We offer a variety of programs, from a representative of one of the agencies we support, to financial planning, to “advice” from the police department.
For the past 36 years we have conducted our annual Christmas tree sales project with the money going, primarily, in support of about 20 missions. The men are involved in a variety of projects, from the up-keeping the lawn to assisting the women during their annual bazaar.
